Week 3 of #Project365 (+1) 14th – 20th January!

A photo every day for a year!

14/365 – Sunday 14 January

Oops I forgot to take a photo today! To be honest we all had a lazy day, I caught up on washing and organising the school uniforms for tomorrow, Sunday is the one day where we do as little as possible 🙂

15/365 – Monday 15 January

Today is classed as blue Monday and it by face ready used to bother me. But for some reason I’ve just been so lethargic and moody today and have a series case of can’t-be-arsed- itis lol I meant to do a selfie Sunday but forgot so here we are for today – looking decidedly un- moody!

16/365 – Tuesday 16 Jan

We had a flurry of snow today but there was too much rain behind it so it didn’t get a chance to lie. Dropped mum off at an appointment then did some food shopping before kids came home from school. Tuesdays sees J going off to air cadets so it’s usually a manic time as it is also his late day for finishing school.

17/366 – Wednesday 17 January

I was pottering about in the garden planning what I’m going to do once the gardening season starts and noticed these bulbs pushing through. Only problem is I can’t remember what I planted – it’s either going to be tulips or Lilly’s – guess it will be a surprise!

18/365 – Thursday 18 January

It was -7 during the night which resulted in our condensation pipe freezing so had no heating this afternoon until the guys could come out and fix it. Oddie and hot drinks kinda day

19/365 – Friday 19 January

Wasn’t expecting a flurry of snow when I woke up this morning! Got the heating fixed at 8pm last night after calling it in at 2pm – hey ho that’s the council for you. But had to turn it off this morning as we were getting the boiler service! So another morning of sitting in my oddie drinking hot stuff until he arrived at 11am – not too bad and at least it working fine no. He left the condensation pipe unhooked until the cold snap is over as it it goes below -4 ish the pipe outside will likely freeze resulting in no heating again. All I can say is thank god we don’t need to pay for anything of these call outs etc!

20/365 – Saturday 20 January

The weather is gearing up for Storm Isha to hit tomorrow so it was a day of music and games. I made a start of decluttered the kids room some and now Lu can get under her mid sleeper and have a little den, she is loving it! Though I know have a ton of stuff to go to the tip, vinted and FB selling/Free groups.

  • I’m still decluttering too. So many things for charity and selling. Lucky they were able to come out and fix it so fast. Brr otherwise.

  • Not the best week to have your heating break down. I sometimes struggle to think of a photo subject for the day and a lot are last minute. Sometimes the hardest bit about de-cluttering is getting it out of the house to wherever it may go. I don’t sell my things as I would rather get it out of the way asap.

  • I always struggle with a photo on a Sunday as we generally always have a lazy day. I was blaming the cold weather for me being in a mood last week.
How lovely to see the bulbs coming through. A sign that spring is on it’s way.
Ohh! World of Warcraft! I used to play and loved it. I keep thinking about getting back into it. x

  • Lovely to see green shoots from the bulbs starting to come through. Glad you got the heating fixed – thank goodness for oodies and hot drinks! #project365

  • I’m grateful for my Oodie my mum bought me for Christmas, it’s the Grinch and I must look a right state when I pop the bins out on a morning. Love waiting to discover what plants are coming up in the garden, I can never remember what is where until they spring up.

  • I’m so glad you got your heating fixed – what a terribly cold week for it to go wrong! Can’t wait to see what your plants turn out to be

  • Glad to hear your boiler got fixed. We had ours replaced last year and it was freezing. It was serviced last week but thankfully we boosted the heating just before

  • It feels like storm after storm with no rest in between! A broken boiler is so stressful poor you

  • So nice to start seeing some growth in the garden…looking forward to spring when I can start focusing on my garden again!

Glad your heating did get fixed!

  • Oh no that your pipe froze, not what you need at all! Looks so cold there. But nice to see the plants starting to sprout! Spring hopefully will be on its way soon, that’s if January ever ends!
