Week 12 #project365 17th-22nd March

77/365 – Sunday 17th
We had to checkout from our room today at 11am and since we didn’t need to rush home per se (according to mother) we made a wee detour to visit The Cheese Toasty Shack – amazing!! Lee got Mac n Cheese and I had the New Yorker. The place was heaving, and after eating to can see why! Definitely worth the we put stop.
78/365 Monday 18th
I went to pick up a prescription for Lee and whilst I was waiting I got an email to say I have a provisional job offer for the position I interviewed for a few weeks ago!!!! I’m so shocked and over the moon at the same time! No idea how to tell Tesco that I may be leaving (depends on my references which shouldn’t pose too much of a problem I don’t think – just not sure how they will like 12 year gap – even though I told them about it during our video interview.
79/365 Tuesday 19th
Managed to get the kids a Dr appointment today and they have a viral infection so got the good old amoxicillin antibiotic for them both. Hopefully it will do the trick, Dr even said that there has been so many cases of this recently, I wish I had gone sooner for the antibiotics but I just treated it like the cold to start with. But hey ho the amoxicillin is great stuff and will work wonders I’ve no doubt.
80/365 Wednesday 20th
Kept the kids off today to give them the full day of getting the antibiotics in them, adjust see a difference in Max and glad he’s back to usual self. Definitely back to school tomorrow!
81/365 Thursday 21st
Urgh what a day. Went up to get the rest of the kids prescription that was owed, only to break a nail getting it car. Managed to pop into the salon to get it fixed so that was all good. Then when I went to collect the leavers hoodies for Max’s class and I broke another nail – well not broken more like I think I have lifted my nail off the nail bed as it’s been in agony since.
THEN I had the dentist to remove my crown and get my temporary denture! Literally cried once I got home from the dentist- major regret, but it’s only temporary and it would have been needing to happen at some point. I feel old having to use fixodent!!
82/365 Friday 22nd
Major busy shift today at work, struggled with my tooth as I was paranoid it was going to come out anytime I spoke! I’ve got a slight lisp on ‘S’ sounds which was great fun when telling people their total, had to laugh or I would have cried! Mouth has been sore today so when I got home I took it out. This is going to be a fun few days until my gums heal then hopefully it will feel better in my mouth.
83/365 Saturday 23rd
I tried to have a lie in as I’ve got a full week of shifts coming up but I ended up being awake by 8am, so just got up and spent today doing a ton of washing since it was sunny for a change. I really should have done a food shop but I am sick of the supermarket this week that I must couldn’t face it, we have a freezer full of stuff and plenty really to eat just need to get essentials like bread for next week- which I’ll get after my shift tomorrow
