Happy New Year 2025
A new year, a new blank canvas, I am not making any resolutions at all this year other then to simply to survive the year. Resolutions are a moot point and I always start with the best of intentions but never see them through, so I am being realistic here.
Highlights of 2024
- I started work for the first time in 12 years in Tesco back in March, and then later left and started a new job with DWP in April.
- Finished my 13 weeks training then a further three months probation in October and got kept on (been in my team since October)
- J turned 15 and M turned 12
- My poor wee car got written off after having it for almost 13 years – but I got a new car (not loving it completely but it an A to B-er)
- Lots of cinema trips
What I am looking forward to in 2025
- Ls 11th birthday
- Big birthdays for J & M (16 and 13!)
- Potential first family holiday abroad (ever!)
- I have lots of DIY planned for the house this year as well (fingers crossed)
