This was such a delight to read and I absolutely adored the illustrations.
Terry Treetop is excited that Spring is finally here and whilst he is enjoying looking for signs of springs, he comes across a bear who he names Barry. He thinks he has found a new friends and when he goes to play with Barry, the mama bear comes out looking for him and ushers him back into the woodland as she knows he shouldn’t be out in the open.
When Terry hears a noise from the woods he sees that Barry as gotten stuck and Terry is left to come up with a solution to save the bear.
This is my first time reading a Terry Treetop book and my kids loved it! My oldest is 5 and learning to read so we had fun reading it together and getting him to pick out the words he knew. I loved the message the books is conveying and I hope that I was able to get it across to my son as well.
You an buy this book from Amazon and Amazon UK, and I highly recommend this for the young readers.
