** I received a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review **

This is one of those story that has a great number of magical creatures – Elves, Orcs, Goblins, and of course humans. It took me a while to get into the story at the beginning due to way the author chose to set up the story and introduce the characters, however it was different but just a little slow for me. Once the story got going though I was hooked.

The world that Casif has created just goes to show how vivid his imagination is and the descriptions and sights and sounds had me immersed into the story. I loved the little portraits of the characters in the book, it really helped to visualise what they were like.

For a young adult fantasy book it was a good read and I would love to read more from the characters featured – either their own stories or in continuation.
