I have never used a chemical peel of any sort on my face before, so I was happy to try this out. I was also scared as I had visions of my skin burning off! Thankfully that wasn’t the case with this!!
I chose the:
Lactic Acid 10% Gel peel
Our gentlest exfoliator removes dead and damaged skin cells without irritation. Lactic acid speeds skin cell renewal and improves skin’s ability to retain moisture.
• Reduces the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and other signs of ageing
• Brightens skin tone after first application
• Smooths and softens skin
The directions state you need to cleanse first then apply a small amount onto your fingers, cover face and then leave for 1- 3 minutes. As soon as I applied it I instantly felt a sensation akin to pins and needles especially on my cheeks, and at first I panicked then it started to die down.
For the first application I just kept it on for 1 minute, but I have been using for over a week now and I now leave it on for the full 3 minuets.
I really notice a difference on my skin, but it isn’t really noticeable on photos right now – I definitely feel my skin being softer and smoother, and I guess with longer use it will help reduce fine lines etc. It is something that I will definitely incorporate into my daily routine and I have read other reviews using it on other problem areas, which I am also going to try out as I have really back bumpy skin on my upper arms.
You can purchase Lactic Acid 10% Gel Peel from Amazon as well as their other peels: Salicylic Acid 2% Daily Gentle Peel – Anti-aging and and Anti-acne Peel. and Fruit Acid Gel Peel 15%
I would love to try this product. Does it smell like lemons?
I am always looking for the best skin care products. Thanks!
If my skin weren’t so sensitive, I’d give this a shot!
I’ve never tried this brand before.
It sounds very tempting.
I would be interested in how this is over long term. I have never done this so am glad you shared.
