October Half Term Plans

So this week the Scottish schools are off for their October Break, much to the kids delight! Usually we don’t do much, but this year Mum is taking me and the kids to Blackpool – I haven’t been in years and really looking forward to the kids seeing the illuminations!

Plans for the week include:

  • Today I am doing washing in the hopes of getting it hung out since it looks like it might be sunny all day *fingers crossed*
  • Tonight I am off out with my mum to a charity Psychic night, I have never been to see a medium thought I have always wanted to. Mum went regularly to what I call the Spooky Church (it is a spiritualist Church) before Covid and got a few reading over the years. Whilst I am not expecting anything tonight I can help but hope that I do get reading.

J is off to get his Covid Vaccine – though I am going to see if we can a different appointment venue as we have be offered on in the next district when we are walking distance of another venue (madness but they apparently have sent out the wrong venues to people!)

Little miss is having a play date with a friend from her old school – since we moved we had to move the kids schools, so it will be good for her as the boys can talk with their old school friends on the PlayStation but not little miss.

Packing for weekend away to Blackpool – Me and the kids are going with mum, they are so excited and we have great weekend planned. Mum has been desperate to take to Blackpool for years and now they are old enough that I don’t need to worry about prams or buggies and them running of.

Early start to head to Blackpool! I am such a big kid that I know I am going to be more excited than the kids LOL
We have booked tickets for Madam Tussades, The Towed Dungeon and the Sea Life Centre, I can’t wait!

Do you have any half term plans?

I haven’t even thought about half term. I think we have a couple of weeks before we have our break.
Have a fab time at Blackpool. It’s the right time of year with the illuminations being on. x
