This week’s theme is SCARY MOVIES
I love scary movies! Since I watched my first Hammer Horror when I was 6/7 I fell in love with horror.
1. IT
My fear of clowns stems from this film! I however love this film – until the end when its a big giant spider, great another thing I don’t like! lol I hear they are looking to remake this….. I just hope in all hopes that they do not ruin it with to much CGI stuff, and come one I doubt anyone can replace Tim Curry at Pennywise… but that remains to be seen,.
2. The Omen (series)
The Omen one is by far the best out of the franchise
3. The Orphanage
4. The Shining
5. The Wicker Man
The original and the best. The “remake” with Nicholas Cage was R.U.B.B.I.S.H
6. Rosemary’s Baby
7. The Others
8. Halloween
9. Friday the 13th (1980)
10. A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984)
And every Hammer Horror movie π
I much prefer the old school horror, too many of the new ones are all CGI based or full of (unnecessary) sex scenes (not that I am a prude). I actually found it hard to stop at just 10 movies….. movies and book are my thing π
Want some horror inspiration why not check out this post on the 101 horror movies to see before you die. How many is on your list from it this week?
What are your 10 favorite scary movies? Why not do a post and link up with me below π
Why not link up too!
You like the classics like me! Some of the old movies like The Shining are scarier than any fancy effects can do.
I like your list. I have most of them too. I like the old school horror too, but some of the new stuff is pretty good too. Yah I agree to much sex scenes. But a couple of them are really freaky. I just say that new movie “Annabelle” and I want to see the new Ouija movie.
