31 Days of Spooky Movies week 3

SO myself and the kids have made a deal to watch 31 spooky movies over the course of the month – with the exception of Tue and Wed nights – as we have swimming and beavers those days so a Tue and a Wed will be my days to watch something more ‘adult’ in terms of horror.

19/10 American Horror Story – 1984

Ok technincally not a movie but I have been dying to watch this Season and saw it was available on Disney+

20/10 Scream

Nothing beats going back to this 90’s classic

Neve Campbell leads an all-star cast in this iconic slasher thriller that launched the Scream franchise and breathed new life into the horror genre. After a series of mysterious deaths befalls their small town, an offbeat group of friends led by Sidney Prescott (Campbell) becomes the target of a masked killer. As the body count rises, Sidney and her friends turn to the “rules” of horror films to help navigate the real-life terror they’re living in. Also starring Courteney Cox, David Arquette, Skeet Ulrich, Matthew Lillard, Rose McGowan and Drew Barrymore. Buckle up for an irresistible killer ride!

21/10 Scary Stories to tell in the dark

It’s 1968 in America. Change is blowing in the wind, but seemingly far removed from the unrest in the cities is the small town of Mill Valley where for generations, the shadow of the Bellows family has loomed large. It is in their mansion on the edge of town that Sarah, a young girl with horrible secrets, turned her tortured life into a series of scary stories, written in a book that has transcended time, stories that have a way of becoming all too real for a group of teenagers who discover Sarah’s terrifying tome

22/10 The Cabin in the Woods

Five friends embark on a short break at a remote cabin, where they get more than they bargained for as they soon fight for survival against cannabilist zombies, but what is the facility below the cabin & what’s it’s connection to the mysterious goings on surrounding the cabin in the woods?
