This week’s theme is GOALS FOR THE NEW YEAR
Usually at this time of year we are thinking about our resolutions for coming year – resolutions tend to get broken so instead I am going to make some goals for the new year and that way they are something to aim to be done by the year end. I have some prety ambitious things i would like to achieve or at least have the process set up, but a year is a long time so they are all doable in thst time frame.
I have been looking through my bucket list and a few i have decided that I am going to work through next year.
1. Become meat free
I keep toying with the idea of being a veggie (not quite ready for vegan) and I am intending to do so throughout next year. I am planning on having more meat free meals through the week and then increase it – will see if can get the kids on board 😉 Lee is a definite no-go as he hated vegetables.
2. Organise/De-clutter the house
We have to much stuff. A ridiculous amount in fact, and with 3 kids the mountain just keeps growing. I seriously want to minimise what we have in the house and only keep what we need essentially. I am going to be doing the 52 week de clutter challenge over on Project-mommy.co.uk
I have visions of doing a marathon one day and the only thing stopping me from doing it is me. I want to take up running and do a race or marathon, lets see how well i get on with this goal.
4.Learn a language.
I know a little french and german, but I have always wanted to learn Russian. I found a cd set of learn Russian whilst at my mums, so may as well put it to use 🙂
5.Look after myself more.
I really need to take better care of myself. I am always stressed, irritable and moody. There are lots of factors that contribute to how I feel – some I have no control over others I do, and i want to try be a healthier and HAPPIER person next year.
It was on my list to do during December, but this month just got away from me. I have got a pretty good yoga app that I am going to make use off. Classes here are at odd times that won’t fit around the kids so diy it is going to have to be for the time being.
Not quite ten but 6 good ones none the less.
