I have been toying with the idea of getting a Selfie Stick, so when I was asked to review this I jumped at the chance!

*** Let me say first off that at first it wouldn’t work with my phone = I have a HTC M8 phone, but after a bit of deciphering on the back of the box it said additional software may be needed – I had to install the SelfiShop Camera app from the play store in order to get the stick to work with my camera. Once I had done that it worked perfectly! **

This is a very portable, pocket size( 20cm retracted) stick that extends out to 80cm – which is rather long and great for getting group shots, it comes in pink which is just a novelty for me 🙂 When you extend it, it is quite tight which is what I had expected as the last thing I would want would be for it to retract mid photo.

It does not require any batteries of require to be charged up prior to use, you simply plug the 35mm jack into your headphone socket and you are on your way. The handle is rubber ribbed which ensures you will have a good grip on it and it also has a wrist strap which I think is a great feature. The grip for your phone is a tight fit as well and there is a turn lock mechanism that enables you to tilt your phone back and forth and then lock it in place.

For the price it is brilliant and does the trick, I have used it several times now and I am more than happy with it and confident that my phone is safe and secure in the mount.
