Wow so it has been ages since I have done a meal plan post, but since one of my goals is to be organised and meal plan the heck out of our dinners I thought I would share what I have come up with for the week.
We basically have the same thing every week – I maybe change the days around depending on mood, but generally it follows this plan
Monday – Sausage and Mash
Tuesday – A-Game Chicken (or Thai noddle soup/curry)
Wednesday – Pasta Bolognase
Thursday – nuggets & waffles
Friday – Mince & Tatties
Saturday & Sunday are generally a free for all or mish-mash kinda days
Jack is going back to swimming lessons now on a Tue night, instead of a Sat morning and we have Beavers and Cubs on a Wed/Thursday so I try to make easy meals those days. The weekend like I say is a mish mash – toasties, pizza that kinda thing – sometimes the kids (all or 1) stay at nana’s on a Sat so then it is just me and hubby to fend for ourselves.
I dont include lunches in out meal plan as the kids get school lunches and I tend to just snack – I know that is worse but sometimes I am just not hungry.
Sometimes I mix up the mince and get the stand and stuff taco shells (when they are on offer) and instead of A-Game Chicken make a Thai Chicken Curry or Thai Noddle soup (which does 2 days)
